Daniel joined Qconcepts as a Senior Consultant, eager to make a difference in the financial sector. With a passion for sustainability, he quickly found a home within our team of dedicated professionals.
Assisting vendor selection process
- Daniel's first project was to assist with the vendor selection process for a Front Office Analytics tool within the Investment Offices of a leading insurance company. He played a key role in capturing requirements, running workshops, and evaluating vendors. His attention to detail and ability to work effectively with stakeholders ensured a successful implementation.
- Daniel's expertise in sustainable finance led him to assist a large Dutch bank with the vendor selection process for a Geographic Information System (GIS) to capture physical climate risk, helping the bank to meet regulatory requirements and better understand the potential financial impact of climate change on its collaterized loan portfolio.
A GIS is a powerful tool that allows users to visualize and analyze data that is geographically referenced, enabling banks to map physical assets, overlay climate data, and assess the risks that climate change poses to their portfolios.
Project management design & implementation
Next, Daniel took on the role of Project Manager for the design and implementation of an ESG and SFDR data integration module at a leading insurance company. He led a team of experts in integrating ESG and SFDR data points into the Front Office, ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
Change management implementation tooling
Daniel was a key member of the Change Management Team for the implementation of a suite of risk management and portfolio management tools at a leading insurance company. He is responsible for collecting and processing critical data, advising on application landscape design, and developing project plans.
